Best Way Sales Company, formerly known as Best Way Fermenting, was founded by Dan Klein in 2003, and has evolved into the BWS Company.

Best Way Sales Company (BWS Company) began as a consulting business complementing Dan’s Rep/Distributor company that supplied mixers, pumps, heat exchangers, solids processing equipment and separation equipment to all industries in California, Arizona, and Nevada. The two entities have since merged into one, now offering a comprehensive range of services, including equipment, repair, machining and engineering.

Initially focusing on the red wine industry, Best Way Fermenting leveraged Dan’s engineering expertise to address industry-specific challenges, leading to the creation of US Patent 6,703,055. This innovation improved color and flavor extraction while enhancing safety by eliminating the need for personnel to enter fermenters to remove pomace.

Dan graduated from the University of Buffalo with a BSChE & Biotechnology degree. He began his career as a Heat Exchanger Application Engineer and RSM. He later became an Outside Sales Engineer for a Rep/Distributor, eventually acquiring the business and serving as its President for 14 years. After selling the company, he joined an EPC firm as a Process Engineer. Then, during the COVID era, Dan took on roles with SPX Flow, first as an RSM for multiple brands including Waukesha, APV, B+L & Seital Separation, and managed their business for both the industrial and sanitary markets, for pumps, heat exchangers, mixers, homogenizers and centrifuges; then he advanced to a national position for Lightnin & Philadelphia Mixers This followed by a role at Ingersoll Rand, the Seepex PC pump division. Ultimately, Dan returned to BWS, bringing his extensive experience and diverse skill set to support customers directly.
